To follow the worldwide commemoration,
A global interactive event will be organized on Facebook Watch Party at 11 am New York /3pm UTC/5 pm Paris /6pm Nairobi.
For those not able to attend the Facebook Watch Party, the video of the global commemoration will be uploaded on ATD Fourth World’s Youtube channel on October 17, at midnight EST.

Join people across the country in calling for justice for people in poverty in Canada! Our guest panel will speak to barriers and recommendations for eradicating poverty and other intersecting forms of systemic oppression in Canada.

For three years, people living in poverty, professionals and academics worked together to clarify how we understand poverty and its multi-dimensional aspects. Research teams defined nine interdependent dimensions common to all six countries. The long-term goal of this project is to help develop better policies to eradicate of poverty.
